Task
This project is an integrated component where it involves structural theory, force calculation and basic structural proposal. it is designed to allow the demonstration of knowledge and understanding of building structure.
In a group of 8, students are required to carry out structural framing and prepare structural drawings of a 3-storey bungalow in a report. Structural plans include foundation plan, ground plan, first floor plan and roof plan.
Individually, students are to perform structural analysis of the bungalow by identifying and quantifying the load acted on the structure. Analysis should include a minimum of 6 beams and 4 columns.

Reflection
While analyzing the building structure, I was able to learnt the basic structural design process. The load distribution calculation in the analysis allows me to understand the structural role of each component and their relative position. This knowledge will help me to design a more structurally stable building and maximize each components' strength.
