Skeletal construction is one of the most widely used structures for building support. The objective of this project is to create an understanding of skeletal construction and its relevant structural component through a shelter construction. The shelter constructed should withstand the weight of 60 kg up to 2 minutes. The shelter must not exceed a base size of 0.75m x 0.75m and height of 1.5m with the shelter elevated at least 5 inches from the ground. Joints and material both plays an integral role in the shelter durability.
