A building will normally comprise several different types of structural systems due several factors. Two of the most commonly used structural system is solid and surface construction method. This project exploits the qualities inherent in these construction methods and create and understanding about them.
In this project, we are to propose a building and identify the different types of structural systems used in its construction. The identified structural system is then describe in term of its function, materials and load distribution through a model and a booklet. Individually, we are to produce a set of drawings of the different structural component of the building.
